FlexBeam FAQ

FlexBeam FAQ

Everything you need to know about Flexbeam, how to use it, and how we handle shipping, returns and support. If your question isn't answered here, drop me a line at sales@thepeakathletics.co.uk and I'll get back to you personally.

Using FlexBeam

How often should I use FlexBeam?

For most people, daily or every-other-day use gets the best results. Each protocol on the device runs for a set time depending on which setting you choose, so you can keep sessions short or go a bit longer based on the area you're treating. The honest truth is that consistency matters more than session length. The customers who get the most out of Flexbeam are the ones who use it regularly, not the ones who blast it for an hour once a week.

How long does it take to see results?

It depends on what you're using it for and how consistent you are. Some people feel a difference within the first few sessions, particularly with acute pain or stiffness. For longer-standing issues like chronic back pain, frozen shoulder, or post-surgery recovery, expect to give it a few weeks of regular use before you can really judge it. The customers who get the best results are the ones who treat it like a habit rather than a one-off fix.

Can I use FlexBeam on multiple body parts?

Yes, and that's one of the main reasons people choose it. The wearable design means you can use it on knees, shoulders, lower back, neck, hips, elbows, wrists, ankles and quads. Most of our customers end up using it on more areas than they originally planned. The straps and bands that come with it make it easy to position on different parts of the body without needing to hold it in place.

Can multiple people in my household use it?

Absolutely. A lot of our customers end up sharing it with their partner, parents or kids once they see it working for one person. There's no setup or user-profile faff, you just pick it up and use it. Some households end up buying a second one to avoid the queue.

What's the difference between red light and near-infrared light?

Red light (660nm) works closer to the surface and is good for skin and shallow tissue. Near-infrared light (850nm) penetrates deeper and reaches muscles, joints and bone. Flexbeam uses both at the same time, which is why it works for everything from skin recovery to deep joint pain. You don't need to switch between modes or pick one, the device delivers both wavelengths together.

Is FlexBeam safe to use?

Flexbeam is safe for general use, but a few common-sense rules apply. Don't shine it directly into your eyes, don't place it on your head or face, and don't leave it sitting over your heart for extended periods. If you're using it anywhere near your eyes, wear protective goggles. If you have a specific health condition, are pregnant, or are on photosensitive medication, please check with your doctor before using it. We're not clinicians and won't pretend to be.

The Device

How does FlexBeam compare to other red light therapy devices?

Honest answer: there are a lot of red light devices on the market and some of them are decent. Where Flexbeam stands out is the combination of three things. It's wearable, so you can target a specific knee, shoulder or hip rather than standing in front of a panel. It's powerful for its size, using both red (660nm) and near-infrared (850nm) wavelengths to reach surface and deeper tissue. And it's built to last, with a 5-year warranty backing that up. If you want full-body treatment, a panel is probably a better fit. If you want targeted, portable recovery you can use anywhere, Flexbeam is hard to beat.

How long does the battery last?

You'll typically get around 5 sessions on a single charge, though this varies depending on which setting you're using. Higher intensity settings drain the battery faster, so if you mostly run it on Setting 3 you'll get fewer sessions per charge than if you're on Setting 1. To protect the battery long-term, unplug it once it's fully charged rather than leaving it plugged in.

How do I clean and maintain my FlexBeam?

Wipe the surface with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Don't use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Store it somewhere cool and dry, and avoid leaving it in extreme temperatures or humid environments. Looked after properly it'll last you years.

What's the warranty?

Flexbeam comes with a 5-year warranty against manufacturing defects and malfunctions. If something goes wrong, get in touch and we'll sort it. Recharge Health, the manufacturer, has a strong track record of standing behind the product when issues come up.

Ordering, Shipping & Payment

How long does shipping take?

We ship from our UK warehouse and most orders arrive within 2-3 working days. Shipping is free on mainland UK. If you need it urgently for a specific date, drop me an email at [email protected] and I'll do my best to sort it.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. We offer Klarna at checkout, so you can spread the cost rather than paying it all upfront. You'll see the option when you go to pay.

What if I'm not satisfied with my FlexBeam?

You've got 60 days to try it. If it's not working for you for any reason, send it back and we'll refund you in full. No awkward questions, no hoops to jump through. The only ask is that you give it a fair go, because Flexbeam tends to need consistent use over a few weeks before the benefits become obvious.

Are there any promotions or newsletter offers?

From time to time, yes. The best way to hear about them is to sign up to the newsletter at the bottom of the page. We don't spam, and we don't run fake countdown timers or pretend something's "ending tonight" when it isn't.

Support & Bulk Orders

What sets your customer service apart?

The Peak Athletics is run by me, Alvaro. When you email or call, you're talking to the person who runs the business, not a call centre. I've been working with Flexbeam customers for years and I'm happy to chat through whether it's right for your situation, how to get the most out of it, or anything that comes up after you buy. No scripts, no upselling.

Do you offer discounts for clinics or bulk orders?

Yes. If you're a clinic, gym, or anyone looking to buy multiple units, drop us a line at sales@thepeakathletics.co.uk and we'll work something out. We work with a number of UK physio and recovery clinics already and we're happy to chat through what makes sense for your setup.
